Graphic Design.
Here is a short portfolio of the graphic design projects I have done for internships, NYU Tandon courses, or for fun!
Afterglow Concert Series Admat Design
“CAD Management, a consulting firm that advises in the development and growth of artists and brands ,has partnered with multifamily owner and operator Equity Residential to produce the fifth iteration of the Afterglow Concert series, a collection of free intimate rooftop and lounge performances in New York and New Jersey to advance the careers of independent artists across the tri-state area. This summer’s concert series, running from May 31st to September 7th, 2023, will support the development of New York University’s Clive Davis Institute (CDI) student performers.”

Inspiration
I decided I wanted to center my admat design on New York City brownstones and townhouses as this aspect of architecture is able to uniquely represent specifically NYC in a highly distinguishable way. I used Procreate to illustrate 5 townhouses using an art style that looks very sketched out and cartoonesque to replicate that New Yorker feel.
First Draft
The aim of this project was to promote the series on New York itself, seeing that we were partnering with a NYC real estate company to attract audiences to the rooftop events. The New Yorker covers seemed to bring out the classic NY feel I wanted to apply.
Final Townhouse Illustrations
For my admat’s first draft, I started out with a white background and all the concert dates included.
Problems
The concert title was too small and needed to be adjusted to be the main focus.
The concert dates were unnecessary and too distracting. Did not need to be on the main admat as a new one would be released before each date.
White background blended the colors of the townhouses too much - needed to pop more.
The company logos were too large for an admat, taking away space from the more important content and graphics.
After reviewing the problems of the first draft, I created tangible solutions to apply to my work and went through many rounds of trial and error to eventually arrive to my final draft.
“Adopt Don’t Shop” Magazine Spread (Zine)
A zine on dog adoption versus buying.
Duration: 2 weeks
For this project, I decided to focus on animal adoption vs buying pets. This project was created on Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
I wanted my layout to consist of various designs that shared the same grained, pixelated, or pop art effect, but contained entirely different color palettes to achieve the zine-like design style.

My Process and Finished Design
I was inspired by the '90s video game and pixel art aesthetic. The typical neon colors and playful graphics would attract the age group that this product targets.
I felt that the monster mascot would translate into pixel art in an effortless manner.
I decided to keep the original colors; orange, blue, and red as I felt it would make the product recognizable and maintain its iconic brand.
Mood Board
I created a 60 by 60 pixel grid to fill out each square to create a pixel effect.
